Introduction
That was an amazing experience to participate in the 24-hour HackOMania 2026! We had a great time working on our project and learning from other participants. In this post, I want to share what we hacked during the hackathon and the outcomes of our efforts.
Last year, I don't have much time to participate in hackathon because of my work and other commitments, may you still remember me in HackOMania 2024 - I also have a great friends when I joined.
My purpose to join just for fun, learning and help new people join more and more hackathon, I don't care about the prize, but I want to have fun and learn new things.
This year really crazy, I think the numbers of participants is more than last two year more than 2 times I guess, may be because AI ??? I don't know. Or may be the population increase ??? 🤫 No I mean is number of hackers.
What We Hacked?
This year, we decided to build a tool that can help people more related to health, alert emmergency, and realtime monitoring. And I think we have using almost all technology free credits from openai, groq, click house , and many more. We also have a great team with different background and skills, we can learn from each other and work together to achieve our goal.
What is really is same ??
It's tired, fun and friends, I think that's energy is never change. We have fun, we learn new things, we make new friends, and we create something new. That's what hackathon is all about.
What motivate me to join hackathon?
I'm start older and more work, I don't hope I can join many hackathon like before, but I hope everyone can join more and more hackathon, because it's a great way to learn, to have fun, and to make new friends.
I know that many people don't know how to code and they don't join, but trust me, ideas is more important before doing code, let's find the person who can help you to do the code, and you can do the idea, the design, the user experience, the marketing, and many more. Everyone can join hackathon, just find your role and join it. Unfortunately, I was became a designer/ UI UX in this hackathon, that is not my strength, but I try to do my best to contribute to the team.
I believe if your company have challange, you should consider sponsor hackathon or encourage your employee to join hackathon, because it's a good place for innovation, learning and finding new talents.
