Introduction
After read the news that Jeremy Tammik is retiring, I feel a bit sad. Jeremy has been a significant figure in the Revit API community for many years, and his contributions have been invaluable. His blog, The Building Coder, has been a go-to resource for Revit developers worldwide.
But as the saying goes, "The only constant in life is change." While it's sad to see Jeremy retire, it's also an opportunity to reflect on his contributions and look forward to the future of Revit API development.
Today, typepad is no longer the dominant blogging platform, and many developers have turned to other platforms like GitHub, Stack Overflow, and various forums to share their knowledge and collaborate. The Revit API community has grown significantly over the years, and there are now many resources available for developers to learn and share their experiences. And today, I seen that Typepad is closed for business. That means The Building Coder blog will no longer be accessible.
Where you can find the Building Coder content?
Don't worry, all the content from The Building Coder blog has been archived and is still accessible through the him github repository: The Building Coder Archive.
When you need find the content, you can search from https://jeremytammik.github.io/tbc/a/#1
What's next?
I don't know what Jeremy will do next, but I hope he will continue to share his knowledge and experience with the Revit API community. Maybe he will write a book, create video tutorials, do consulting, or even start a new blog on a different platform. Whatever he chooses to do, I wish him all the best in his future endeavors.
Whether should I try to hack something to help the community ?
